The Pierre Hurel Trio will perform original music from its latest
CD's, along with well known standards from the French repertoire
like Autumn Leaves to other American classics like original
arrangements of Summertime or Take the A Train, etc.

Pierre Hurel, John Funkhouser and Mike Connors have played
together for more than 15 years and are coming out of the Bill
Evans and Keith Jarrett trio sound, attending to both a solid swing
element and a fresh take on standards. The group has a fluid, lyrical
and organic sound and can just move in any new direction at any
given moment.
